$60,730 RAISED FOR THE 2026 CAJUN CLASSIC
Hallowheel has raised $360,845 since 2015
The 2025 Edward Jones Investments / Tex Morris Hallowheel charity tennis and pickleball tournament, held Oct. 3-5 in Baton Rouge, attracted 510 players and raised $60,730 to help offset expenses of the 2026 Cajun Classic Wheelchair Tennis Tournament that will be held next March in Baton Rouge.
Since 2015, the Hallowheel tournament has raised a total of $360,845 for the Cajun Classic. The volunteer Board of Directors of the Baton Rouge Wheelchair Tennis Association (BRWTA) produces the Cajun Classic and Hallowheel.
The Hallowheel tennis tournament was created in 2015 by Emily Greene and Rusty Jabour, who co-chair the event. Title Sponsor Tex Morris and his wife, Cindy, co-chair the pickleball competition, which they started in 2017.
Hallowheel is one of the most unique tournaments in the United States, as it features tennis, pickleball, and an “Up-Down” competition that includes wheelchair players partnered with able-bodied “Up” players.
Hallowheel also has included an adapted and wheelchair tennis carnival that introduces tennis to children with developmental disabilities.
